A year before our wedding, my cousin had used Inkhearts for her wedding invites and stationary and they were beautiful! I knew from then that I too wanted the inkhearts effect on my invites! Working with inkhearts was an amazing experience. I wanted a concept for my birthday invitation that incorporated a black tie element with hints of femininity.  I figured utilizing a black bow tie concept would capture the boldness of a black tie affair while incorporating the colour pink and using it as a background would make it feminine.
